  • Prof. Thoms, with student researchers Nicole Dubin (CI), Sara Colon Cerezo (Santa Barbara City College) and Rafael Hernandez (Oxnard College), had their paper abstract titled, “Introducing Speq-DB: A Simple Program for Enhancing Quality in Online Discussion Boards,” accepted for inclusion in the National Diversity in STEM Conference, Oct. 13-15 in Long Beach, CA.   • Prof. Claveau to give the talk, "Robots of CSU Channel Islands: Some Talk the Talk, Some Walk the Walk" at the Blanchard Community Library, 119 North 8th Street, Santa Paula on Tuesday Sept. 20.
  • Prof. Isaacs to be the Keynote Speaker for AUVSI Channel Islands on Sept. 13 @ 6pm in Broome Library Rm. 2325.  His talk will provide an introduction to the AVES (Autonomous Vehicle and Embedded Systems) Lab at CSU Channel Islands.
